This is a beautiful family run hotel in an idyllic location. The owners and all the staff couldn't have been more helpful, they were utterly charming and welcoming. There are fabulous lounge and meeting spaces in the hotel, and the bar and the dining room are both handsome rooms. This isn't a business hotel, so don't expect the bedrooms to have minibars etc, but the rooms are all unique and have great character and very comfortable. Outside there is a sun terrace with views across the bay, a tennis court and an excellent swimming pool. We cannot wait to return.
An absolutely fantastic Sunday lunch. Excellent service and delicious food, some of the very best I have had. Would certainly recommend and will definitely return.
A wonderful family run hotel in a superb location. We have stayed here on several occasions and have always had a very friendly welcome. Henry and his wife have maintained his parents’ high standards and the very warm and personal service. The staff are great and the food is really excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Lovely long standing country house hotel with welcoming staff. Seaview room had breathtaking views of the headland and bay. Dinner was great with friendly servers. Recommend the venison, guinea fowl and scallops. Good wine list with great pricing
Just went for a drink there after a family walk. Very expensive! But the service was excellent and the view of the sea was pleasant with a lovely grass meadow in the foreground.
We were unlucky & got room 10, the bathroom is not suitable for older people. The room was kept spotless & had great views. The hotel is in a remote area, good access to local beach. Great food & drink, nothing is too much trouble for staff & family owned who are on hand most of the time. Well worth seeking out if you want a peaceful breakup.
Absolutely beautiful hotel, clean, spotless rooms, comfortable bed, with friendly, helpful staff. Kelly and Henry are great! I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely visit again next year. The food was always delicious, and the perfect Sunday roast.
I spent 4 nights at Porth Tocyn after a few days in Eryri and absolutely loved it. A very special and unique hotel in the most beautiful setting, comfortable and quality, with a personal style. Amazing walks straight from the doorstep, and gorgeous gardens & pool to enjoy if you’re lucky with the weather. And all of the staff are simply wonderful. I will definitely go back.
